A MATH PROBLEM
Take 1 Workshop Teacher (let’s call her Jane).
Multiply that by 29 years of teaching 1 workshop a year (we all know she does more, but my feeble math brain can only do so much).
29 x 1 =
29 years! (I know, I’m amazing, MIT just called).
Take those 29 years and multiply that by an average of 30 “Big” students (attending said workshop, learning TONS of new techniques each year).
29 x 30 =
870 “Big” students with TONS of new techniques (over the 29 years).
Now let’s assume that these 870 “Big” students have at least 10 “Little” students in their classes at home…
We should multiply the 870 “Big” students by the 10 “Little” students:
870 x 10 =
8,700 (over the 29 years) “Little” students.
Now, just for fun, let’s assume that ONE out of these “Little” students becomes a teacher.
Over 29 years, there have been 8700+ souls touched
by this one Passionate Workshop Teacher
***If anyone ever said, “I’m just ONE person, what can ONE person do?” We now have the answer.***
